Welding Supervisor

Summary Description:                                                                      Responsible for organizing a shift work unit involved with mechanical and / or electrical maintenance and repair of equipment. To supervise routine and emergency repair and maintenance and servicing of mechanical components on mobile mining equipment.  Supervise, coordinate and monitor all activities of the maintenance area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:              Responsible to schedule, coordinate, direct and supervise field maintenance shift personnel engaged in maintenance activities requiring troubleshooting, fabrication and weld repair of all major mining equipment. Responsible to coordinate maintenance activities with production operations ensuring that adequate scheduling needs for parts, materials and manpower to effectuate timely repair has been met. Responsible to ensure that employees comply with established policies, procedures, authorized practices and State and Federal safety regulations. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications and Skills: Seven to ten years work experience in surface mining operations. Demonstrated knowledge of the mechanical operation, assembly, weld repair, troubleshooting and maintenance of mining equipment to include draglines, shovels and drills. Demonstrated knowledge of MSHA safety regulations governing surface mining operations.  Demonstrated supervisory experience which reflects the skill necessary to interact, involve and direct a diverse workforce.  Effective oral and written communication skills. Must possess a State of Montana Mine Foreman Certificate.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
